Perhaps Birds
Dreams happen and I remember them
Or I don’t remember them – it is that simple
Because of science I know things and because of science I move
But because of you I breathe
Because of the sky I stand still sometimes
Under it and wonder
Things pass me by overhead at great speed
I do not know what these things are
Perhaps the dreams of others being dreamed right now
Perhaps birds
As if there is a difference
